Counselling
Counseling is a space we create together—a space for real conversations, steady support, and thoughtful work. You don't need to arrive with a label, a diagnosis, or even a clear reason. If something feels stuck, overwhelming, or simply hard to make sense of, that's more than enough to begin.
In our sessions, we'll explore what you're carrying and how it's showing up in your life. You'll learn to notice, understand, and name your feelings—but more importantly, we'll begin the work of moving through them. Not just to cope, but to heal. To build strength. To recover, and to learn how to carry yourself more lightly.
I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and am a regulated Counseling Therapist in Alberta and British Columbia, Canada. I also work with clients in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and the three territories, where counseling is not yet regulated. If you're in one of these provinces, you may be able to use insurance to work with me.
If you're in a country where I'm not formally regulated, we can still work together under a coaching framework. I offer this because I believe that access to mental health support shouldn't be limited by geography. If the work feels right for you, I want to make it available.
All sessions are online. You'll be in your comfy clothes, I'll be in mine. Just find a quiet space where you feel at ease—whether you're sitting up or lying down. What matters is that you're here, and we're talking.
My approach is grounded and human. I use methods that help us reflect, make meaning, and find practical ways to feel more steady and supported. If you're curious about the specific tools I draw from, we can talk about them—but you won't need to know the technical names or make any choices before you're ready. When we begin working together, I'll help guide us toward the combination of support that fits you best.
I'm also an ethical practitioner. I receive clinical supervision and I'm in therapy myself. That means I'm doing my own work—so I can keep showing up clearly, kindly, and responsibly for the people who trust me with theirs.
The heart of this work is empowerment. I want you to feel more rooted in yourself, more in charge of your journey. I can't tell you how many sessions it will take, and I won't pretend to have every answer—but I can tell you this: from the very first session, my aim is to help you grow in ways that eventually make me unnecessary.
If you're unsure how to begin, that's what the exploratory call is for. It's a no-pressure, 10-minute conversation to get to know each other, see what's coming up for you, and talk about how I might support you. It's the least I can offer—and often, the most honest place to start.
When it's time to talk it through, I'm here—steady, curious, and ready to begin.
